Overview

Buzz is recruiting experienced, non-type-rated first officers for Boeing 737 operations at bases across Europe, with training courses scheduled to begin in winter. This is explicitly an experienced-pilot vacancy rather than a cadet pathway. Successful applicants join a growing airline operation flying Boeing 737-800 and 737-8200 aircraft on a stable roster. The selection standard focuses on meaningful commercial multi-crew experience, current European licensing and medical documents, and readiness for airline assessment and transition training. Pilots who already hold a B737 rating may still enter through the non-type-rated route when their experience or recency does not meet the stated thresholds.

Requirements

  • At least 700 hours of total flight time.
  • At least 500 hours as first officer on multi-crew, multi-engine commercial air transport aircraft; instructor time is excluded.
  • EASA Part-FCL licence with at least a CPL(A) and valid multi-engine instrument rating.
  • MEIR must be valid on the assessment date and cannot expire more than 12 months after course commencement.
  • Completed ATPL(A) theoretical knowledge examinations under FCL.515.
  • Valid EU Part-MED Class 1 medical.
  • ICAO English proficiency level 4 or higher, including written proficiency.
  • Unrestricted right to live and work in the European Union.
  • Applicants must be younger than 66.
  • Ability to pass enhanced background and regulatory checks.
  • B737-rated pilots below 800 hours on type, below 1,000 CS-25 hours, or inactive on type for 36 months complete the full transition course.
