Overview
Transavia is recruiting experienced Boeing 737NG First Officers for its Brussels base. Pilots initially operate the B737NG and will later receive conversion training as the airline moves the base toward the Airbus A321neo. The First Officer supports the Captain in delivering safe and efficient flights, works closely with cockpit, cabin, ground and operational-support colleagues, and serves a varied network that includes airports with challenging terrain and weather. This permanent role requires current Boeing time, recent on-type activity and a complete set of European licence, medical, instrument, multicrew and upset-recovery credentials. English proficiency must be above the application threshold and reach the higher stated level before employment begins.
Responsibilities
- Support safe and efficient operation under the Captain's direction.
- Work closely with the full crew and operational-support teams.
- Help deliver a safe and pleasant journey for passengers.
- Operate across varied airports, terrain and weather conditions.
- Participate in future company-provided transition training to the A321neo.
Requirements
- Hold a valid Boeing 737NG type rating.
- Have at least 500 actual First Officer hours on the B737NG.
- Have flown at least 50 hours on type within the preceding six months.
- Hold a valid EASA ATPL or frozen ATPL.
- Hold valid multiengine instrument privileges with PBN and a Class 1 medical.
- Hold an MCC certificate and, when applicable, advanced UPRT.
- Hold ICAO English Level 5 when applying and Level 6 before starting.
- Hold a valid EU passport.
- Be able to swim one pool length without assistance.
