Overview
Coast Flight Training continues to accept applications for full-time flight instructors at its San Diego location. The instructor supports the school's structured training programmes and works with students in a professional Part 61 and Part 141 environment. The San Diego full-time pathway requires both flight-instructor and instrument-instructor qualifications, a stated minimum of total flight experience, a current medical and United States citizenship. Multi-engine instructor privileges and Piper Seminole familiarity are preferred rather than mandatory. Responsibilities
- Deliver flight instruction in accordance with the school's approved training programmes.
- Provide associated ground and simulator instruction when assigned.
- Brief and debrief students and support their progress through the syllabus.
- Apply the school's safety, standardisation and record-keeping procedures.
Requirements
- At least 300 hours of total flight time.
- Current CFI and CFII certificates.
- Current FAA Class 3 medical certificate.
- United States citizenship.
- MEI qualification and Piper Seminole experience are preferred.
