Overview
easyJet is recruiting A320-rated Captains for permanent positions at London Gatwick beginning in 2027. The Captain occupies the left seat, sets flight-deck standards and makes operational decisions with safety at the centre of each journey. New joiners complete the airline's operator conversion course before entering short-haul line operations on the Airbus fleet. The position is limited to Gatwick and requires United Kingdom licensing, a current Airbus proficiency check, substantial overall experience and defined command time on large jets. Applications are ongoing and progress through online screening, document review and technical and non-technical assessment at a simulator centre.

- Command A320-family flights from London Gatwick.
- Provide a safe and enjoyable journey for passengers and crew.
- Make firm operational decisions and maintain high flight-deck standards.
- Keep safety central to every phase of the operation.
Requirements
- Hold a valid A320 type rating when joining.
- Have at least 4,000 hours of total flight time.
- Have at least 500 hours on the A320 family.
- Have at least 500 PIC hours on jets above 30 tonnes MTOW by induction.
- Hold a UK CAA licence and valid A320 LPC at induction.
- Hold a UK CAA Class 1 medical certificate.
- Demonstrate ICAO English Level 4 or higher.
- Have unrestricted rights to live and work in the United Kingdom and travel across the network.
