Overview
Edelweiss is recruiting an Airbus A350 first officer for Zurich-based long-haul flying, with possible operation across the A350 and A320 fleets. The pilot supports safe, efficient and punctual services by preparing and conducting flights, coordinating with the commander, crew, ground teams and air traffic control, and maintaining strong systems knowledge. The vacancy is aimed at experienced A350 or A330 pilots with an EASA airline transport licence, recent type evidence and the listed language, medical, citizenship and professional-record conditions. Type-time requirements vary between the accepted aircraft backgrounds.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and conduct flights safely, efficiently and punctually.
- Coordinate with the commander, cabin crew, ground teams and air traffic control.
- Support the commander and accept delegated operational responsibility.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of aircraft systems and procedures.
Requirements
- Hold an EASA Part-FCL ATPL.
- Hold an A350 or A330 type rating that is current or expired by no more than one year.
- Have at least 1,000 A350 hours or at least 2,000 A330 hours.
- Hold a valid Class 1 medical certificate.
- Provide current simulator or line-check evidence.
- Speak German at C1 level.
- Speak English at B2 level and ICAO Level 4 or higher.
- Maintain a clean professional record and demonstrate teamwork and leadership.
- Hold Swiss, EU-27 or EFTA citizenship.
