Overview
Singapore Airlines is recruiting contract direct-entry first officers for Airbus A350 and A380 operations. The vacancy targets pilots already qualified and experienced on one of those aircraft, with a licence and medical that CAAS recognises or can validate. Candidates with 3,000 first-officer hours are preferred, while the employer will consider applicants meeting the lower published acceptance level and the minimum time on type. Recent aircraft experience, strong operational English and the stated physical criterion are also required. The contract role is based within the airline’s Singapore flight operation.
Requirements
- Hold a valid ATPL with an A350 or A380 type rating recognised or validatable by CAAS.
- Hold a Class 1 medical certificate recognised or validatable by CAAS.
- At least 3,000 first-officer hours are preferred; candidates with 1,500 or more may be considered.
- Have at least 1,500 hours on the A350 or A380.
- Have at least two years of operating experience on type.
- Demonstrate English proficiency at ICAO Level 5 or higher.
- Be at least 1.58 metres tall.
