Overview
German Airways is seeking Embraer 190 captains for wet-lease and charter operations. The role is suited to established commanders able to operate from the airline's assigned bases and maintain professional standards across changing customer programmes. Applicants need substantial total and command experience on heavier aircraft, current European airline transport and medical credentials, and strong German and English language ability. A current Embraer 170/190 rating is preferred, while the essential criteria focus on command depth, work eligibility, education and security suitability. Responsibilities
- Command Embraer 190 services within wet-lease and charter programmes.
- Lead the operating crew and maintain safe, compliant flight execution.

- Support reliable and professional delivery across assigned bases.
Requirements
- At least 4,000 hours of total flight time.
- At least 1,000 PIC hours on aircraft above 20 tonnes.
- Valid EASA ATPL(A) and current EASA Class 1 medical.
- ICAO English proficiency level 4 or higher.
- German and English proficiency at approximately B2 level.
- European Union passport or unrestricted EU work rights.
- Required educational background and security clearance eligibility.
- Current Embraer 170/190 type rating is preferred.
