Overview
Scoot is inviting experienced turboprop Captains without jet time to transition into command of its expanding Embraer E190 operation in Singapore. The Captain occupies the left seat, leads the crew and is accountable for safe, punctual and comfortable flight operations. The published schedule uses fixed roster patterns, and successful candidates who need an aircraft type rating may receive training subject to a cost co-payment and training bond. Selection begins with online aptitude testing, followed by a Singapore assessment centre, simulator evaluation and personality assessment. Candidates need extensive experience on qualifying multicrew commercial turboprops, a licence that can be issued or converted by Singapore's authority, and operational English at the published level.
