Overview
TAG Aviation is accepting freelance crew applications for captains and first officers across multiple locations, including Gulfstream G280 command work associated with Hong Kong. Captain candidates must hold the relevant aircraft rating and meet substantial total, jet-command, and on-type experience thresholds. The role supports ad hoc private aviation missions and requires professional communication, calm performance under pressure, schedule flexibility, and a client-focused approach. Freelancers must be ready to integrate quickly with different crews and assignments while maintaining safe operation, discretion, and the service standards expected in international corporate aviation.
Responsibilities
- Support freelance flight operations as an aircraft captain.
- Work closely with clients, crewmembers, and operational colleagues.
Requirements
- Hold an FAA ATP certificate and a valid Class 1 medical certificate.
- Hold a Gulfstream G280 type rating for G280 assignments.
- Have at least 5,000 hours of total flight time.
- Have at least 1,000 PIC hours on jet aircraft.
- Have at least 100 hours on the relevant aircraft type.
- Communicate effectively and perform reliably under operational pressure.
- Be available for flexible, round-the-clock freelance assignments.
- The application asks for at least one year of corporate or private-jet experience.
