Overview
Jett Aircraft's Learjet 45 second-in-command assists the captain with flying, radios, paperwork, fuel, logs, and cabin condition in a Part 135 environment. The SIC follows company procedures and the safety-management system, completes recurrent training and checks, acts as security coordinator, and must be ready to assume command when necessary. Entry begins at 500 total hours, although 1,000 is preferred. A U.S. passport and FAA Second Class medical are mandatory, with First Class medical status viewed favourably. The operator provides Part 135 training and Learjet 45 type qualification, making this a structured right-seat pathway rather than a type-rated-only recruitment.
