Overview

Unicair's Learjet 45 ready-entry captain commands worldwide air-ambulance and medically required repatriation missions from Cologne. Each assignment brings together a two-pilot flight crew and a medical team, so preparation, onboard standards, and service quality are integral to the job. The entry criteria include an EASA ATPL, current LJ45 rating, Class 1 medical, German security clearance, and EU work rights. Pilots need 3,000 hours on CS-25 aircraft, 500 on the Learjet 45, and 500 as PIC. German must reach C1 and English ICAO level 4; worldwide availability, flexibility, customer focus, and complete records are also expected.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and command worldwide ambulance and repatriation missions.
- Operate each flight safely and in line with quality and service expectations.
- Coordinate operational preparation with the mission and crew teams.

Requirements

  • Hold an EASA ATPL and a valid Learjet 45 type rating.
  • Have at least 3,000 hours on CS-25 aircraft.
  • Have at least 500 hours on the Learjet 45 and 500 PIC hours.
  • Maintain a valid Class 1 medical certificate and German security clearance.
  • Hold an EU work permit, a driving licence, and an unrestricted passport.
  • Speak German at C1 level and English at ICAO level 4 or higher.
  • Be available for worldwide, flexible assignments and work well with customers and teams.
  • General-aviation or air-ambulance experience is preferred.
