Overview
Airbus is recruiting two airline pilots for permanent BelugaXL positions in the Toulouse area. The role supports the manufacturer's air transport activity by operating the specialised A330-derived freighter and contributing to ground operations that sustain the industrial supply chain. It requires an experienced widebody pilot with a current Airbus qualification, strong French and English proficiency, and the flexibility to travel worldwide. Beyond line flying, the position carries a direct focus on operational safety, service quality, teamwork, and reliable movement of large aircraft components between production locations.
Responsibilities
- Assist the captain with flight preparation and operation of BelugaXL missions.
- Contribute to BelugaXL ground operations linked to industrial transport activity.
- Support the safety and quality of supply-chain flight operations.
- Travel internationally as required by the operating programme.
Requirements
- Hold a full ATPL.
- Hold a current Airbus A330 or A350 type rating.
- Have at least 5,000 hours of total flight time.
- Have at least 1,000 hours on CS-25 aircraft.
- Have at least 500 hours on Airbus fly-by-wire aircraft.
- Hold a valid Class 1 medical certificate.
- Demonstrate French proficiency equivalent to ICAO Level 6.
- Demonstrate English proficiency at FCL.055 Level 4 or higher.
- Be available for worldwide travel.
- Recent experience on the A330 or A350 is preferred.
