Overview
Airbus Korea's synthetic flight instructor teaches A330, A350, or A380 crews in full-flight simulators, other pilot-training devices, and classrooms. Sessions cover normal and emergency procedures, followed by written grading, progress evaluation, and decisions about remedial training. The instructor also helps improve course documentation and maintains Airbus standardisation. A current ATPL and matching type rating from a recognised ICAO-signatory country are required, along with five years at an air carrier and 2,000 PIC hours on jet transports. The remaining experience condition is either 500 hours on type or two years as an Airbus simulator instructor. Several commuting rotations are available.
