Overview
Airlink recruits first officers for its Johannesburg-based regional operation through several entry routes. The standard experienced pathway carries higher total, multi-engine and turbine thresholds, while Cadet and Connect pathways accept lower totals with their own eligibility conditions. Because the published routes do not share a single total-time minimum, no universal total is recorded. All pathways require South African work eligibility and relevant SACAA commercial or airline-transport licensing, while the pilot’s cockpit role is to support the captain in the safe operation of the company’s regional flights.
