Overview
BAE Systems is recruiting a Typhoon simulator instructor pilot to deliver and support synthetic flying training. The instructor prepares and conducts ground school, briefs and debriefs crews, operates simulator sessions and records formal assessments. Beyond day-to-day instruction, the role contributes to course development, remedial training, device checks and the continuing qualification of instructors and examiners. The vacancy calls for recent fast-jet instructional credibility and experience teaching aircrew in a simulator environment. Direct Typhoon knowledge is preferred, but candidates with significant fast-jet backgrounds and suitable instructor qualifications may also be considered after completing the applicable conversion course.
