Overview
Pier Seven Aviation is recruiting a theoretical knowledge instructor in Sharjah to deliver airline transport pilot ground training. The instructor teaches assigned subjects, prepares lesson plans, monitors progress through classroom and digital learning, and helps maintain course materials, tests, and examinations. The role supports a controlled training environment and includes annual instructor-development activity. Candidates need prior teaching experience across several ATPL subjects, a commercial or airline transport pilot qualification, strong operational English, and the technical, presentation, and administrative skills required to teach consistently within an approved aviation academy.
Responsibilities
- Teach assigned GCAA ATPL theoretical subjects.
- Prepare lesson plans and maintain current teaching material.
- Monitor student progress through classroom and electronic learning systems.
- Develop and review checks, tests, and examination content.
- Maintain an orderly and effective training environment.
- Complete annual instructor training and standardisation activities.
Requirements
- Have at least one year of experience teaching five or more listed ATPL subjects.
- Hold a CPL or ATPL.
- Demonstrate English proficiency at ICAO Level 5 or higher.
- Bring strong expertise in the subjects to be taught.
- An instructor or teaching-technology certificate is preferred.
- Demonstrate strong presentation, communication, and Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience working with an aviation regulator is advantageous.
- Have personal transport available.
