Overview
Piedmont Airlines is hiring First Officers for its Embraer regional operation, with crew bases in Charlotte, Philadelphia and Harrisburg. New pilots train through the airline's Advanced Qualifications Program and may progress to captain as experience and company needs allow. Piedmont also offers a contractual flow programme toward American Airlines. Standard ATP candidates need 1,500 total hours, 50 multi-engine hours and 250 PIC hours, while eligible Restricted ATP candidates may qualify under an alternative regulatory pathway. Applicants also need United States work authorisation, an FCC radiotelephone permit, a First Class medical and a high-school diploma or GED.
Requirements
- Meet the requirements for an ATP or Restricted ATP with a multi-engine rating.
- Standard ATP applicants need 1,500 total hours, 50 multi-engine hours and 250 PIC hours; eligible Restricted ATP applicants may follow that alternative.
- Hold a valid United States passport or another passport with United States work authorization.
- Hold an FCC radiotelephone operator permit.
- Hold a current First Class medical certificate.
- Hold a high-school diploma or GED.
- Current employment in a pilot position is preferred.
