Overview
Cook Medical is hiring a corporate pilot in Bloomington to transport company personnel and equipment. The position covers the full operational cycle, from route, weather, loading, and performance preparation through passenger briefings, flight execution, post-flight records, and aircraft care. It requires a highly experienced airline transport pilot with substantial turbine command time, recent activity, and the ability to operate several company aircraft. The pilot must preserve confidentiality, maintain accurate documentation, support safe decision-making, and provide dependable transportation aligned with the organisation's business needs.
Responsibilities
- Transport company personnel and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Prepare weather, routing, flight-plan, loading, weight-and-balance, and performance information.
- Brief passengers and coordinate their safe boarding and travel experience.
- Complete aircraft pre-flight and post-flight inspections and duties.
- Maintain flight logs, operational records, and required documentation.
- Support aircraft cleanliness, readiness, and general care.
- Protect confidential information encountered during company travel.
Requirements
- Hold an FAA multi-engine ATP certificate and a valid FAA First Class medical certificate.
- Have at least 3,000 hours of total flight time.
- Have at least 1,000 hours of turbine PIC time.
- Have at least 500 hours of jet flight time.
- Have flown at least 200 hours during the preceding 12 months.
- Hold a United States passport and an FCC radio operator permit.
- Have no record of aviation accidents or incidents.
- Be able to operate three aircraft types used by the company.
- Hold an associate degree or equivalent qualification.
- Corporate aviation experience and heavier-aircraft experience above 12,500 pounds are preferred.
