Overview
Guardian Flight is recruiting a fixed-wing King Air pilot for a remote rotational medical-transport assignment in Alaska. The pilot works with a clinical team to move patients safely and keeps the aircraft and crew ready for missions during a fifteen-days-on, fifteen-days-off day-and-night schedule. The vacancy specifies extensive total, fixed-wing, command, multi-engine, cross-country, night and instrument experience. Applicants also need the listed FAA commercial and medical credentials, with an ATP to be obtained within five years if not already held. Single-pilot IFR experience is considered ideal.
Responsibilities
- Transport medical customers safely alongside the assigned clinical team.
- Maintain aircraft and crew readiness during each rotational assignment.
- Support day and night medical-transport missions from the designated Alaska location.
Requirements
- Hold an FAA Commercial certificate with airplane multi-engine land privileges.
- Be able to obtain an ATP within five years if not already held.
- Hold a current FAA First-Class medical certificate.
- Have at least 2,500 hours of total flight time.
- Have at least 2,000 fixed-wing hours.
- Have at least 1,000 hours as PIC.
- Have at least 500 cross-country hours.
- Have at least 500 hours on multi-engine aircraft.
- Have at least 100 night hours.
- Have at least 75 instrument hours, including 50 actual.
- Hold a high-school diploma or GED.
- Single-pilot IFR experience is preferred.
- Provide logbooks for verification.
