Overview
Guardian Flight is hiring an Aviation Maintenance Pilot in Honolulu to support C90 and PC-12 aircraft. The pilot performs operational check flights after scheduled or unscheduled maintenance, repositions aircraft and confirms that aircraft are safe, properly documented and ready to return to service. The position reports through flight operations while coordinating closely with regional maintenance leadership, dispatch, quality assurance and safety teams. It includes after-hours and on-call support, travel and possible evening, weekend or holiday work. The role requires a commercially qualified multiengine pilot with defined total, cross-country, night, instrument and PIC experience who can interpret technical information and communicate aircraft-system issues effectively.
Responsibilities
- Conduct visual inspections, ground runs and post-maintenance operational check flights.
- Reposition aircraft for maintenance and operational support.
- Verify aircraft quality, equipment and readiness before return to service.
- Confirm current electronic flight bags, manuals, weight-and-balance data and pilot guides.
- Maintain accurate risk, shift, manifest and regulatory records.
- Coordinate with maintenance, operations, dispatch, quality and safety teams.
- Maintain required certifications and aircraft-systems training.
- Support towing, hangar movements, deicing and flight preparation when needed.
Requirements
- Have at least 1,200 total hours, 500 cross-country hours and 100 night hours.
- Have at least 75 instrument hours, including 50 actual-instrument hours.
- Have at least 100 PIC hours in multiengine aeroplanes.
- Hold a Commercial Airplane Multiengine Land certificate.
- Hold a current First or Second Class FAA medical certificate.
- Have a high-school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Hold a valid, unexpired driver licence.
- Be available for after-hours, on-call and variable-shift support.
- Be able to interpret and communicate complex aircraft-system information.
- King Air or PC-12 PIC time and an FAA A&P certificate are preferred.
