Overview

Republic Airways is recruiting first officers for its Embraer regional operation. The pilot assists with weather and regulatory planning, verifies aircraft readiness, supports fuel and flight-plan decisions, and operates under the captain's authority throughout each trip. Duties also cover equipment and manual knowledge, turbulence reporting, manifests, punctual departures, and coordination of passengers, baggage, cargo, and ground activity. Applicants must meet the applicable FAA ATP or restricted-ATP route, complete security and history checks, hold travel and work eligibility, and remain available for relocation and a variable airline schedule.

Responsibilities

- Assist with weather review, regulatory planning, and flight preparation.
- Confirm aircraft readiness during pre-flight activity.
- Support fuel and flight-plan decisions with the captain.
- Operate under captain authority and applicable federal requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of aircraft equipment, manuals, and procedures.
- Complete turbulence notifications and passenger or cargo manifests.
- Support prompt departures and coordinate ground, passenger, baggage, and cargo activity.

Requirements

  • Hold a high-school diploma or GED.
  • Meet the applicable FAA ATP or restricted-ATP eligibility standard before employment.
  • A completed ATP written examination is preferred.
  • Provide the required ten-year history and pass fingerprint and criminal-history checks.
  • Hold a current passport and unrestricted United States work and travel eligibility.
  • Pass required drug and alcohol testing.
  • Communicate effectively in English.
  • Be able to relocate and work a variable schedule.
