Overview
Vantage Aviation is hiring a full-time Phenom 300 Captain in Richmond, Virginia, for an on-demand, non-rotational two-pilot account. The Captain is accountable for safe and efficient aircraft operation, flight planning, weather review, airworthiness and weight-and-balance preparation, while coordinating with air traffic control, maintenance and operations. Passenger comfort, discretion and service are also central to the assignment. Candidates must live locally within approximately 90 minutes of the base and be available for on-call, weekend, holiday, overnight and international duties. The employer requires an FAA airline transport certificate, substantial total and command experience, and meaningful multiengine turbine time; company-sponsored type training may be available.
Responsibilities
- Conduct flights safely under FAA rules and company procedures.
- Complete flight planning, weather analysis and aircraft inspections.
- Confirm airworthiness, fuel planning and weight-and-balance calculations.
- Coordinate with air traffic, ground, maintenance and operations teams.
- Maintain accurate flight logs, reports and required records.
- Provide discreet, professional service to passengers.
- Maintain aircraft-system and regulatory currency through recurrent training.
Requirements
- Hold an FAA ATP and current First Class medical certificate.
- Have at least 3,000 hours of total flight time.
- Have at least 1,500 PIC hours.
- Have at least 1,000 hours on multiengine turbine aircraft.
- Hold a Phenom 300 type rating or complete company-sponsored training.
- Live within approximately 90 minutes of the assigned base.
- Hold a valid United States passport and travel internationally without restriction.
- Be available for on-call, overnight, weekend and holiday duties.
- Part 91 or Part 135 experience and 250 Phenom PIC hours are preferred.
