Overview
Allen Corporation is recruiting a full-time Light Twin Instructor Pilot in Fort Worth, Texas. The instructor supports an established FAA currency programme by delivering recurrent flight training and checks in Piper PA-44 and Cessna 172 aircraft. Work includes detailed briefings, systems knowledge, safety-management compliance, cockpit resource management and completion of operational records. The position combines instruction with pilot-in-command duties around the Dallas-Fort Worth airspace and requires recent teaching experience, multiple instructor credentials and defined total, command and multi-engine flight time. Responsibilities
- Provide flight instruction and checking in PA-44 and Cessna 172 aircraft.
- Conduct preflight and postflight briefings covering weather, routing and procedures.
- Maintain current knowledge of aircraft systems, avionics and emergency procedures.
- Deliver training in accordance with the safety management programme.
- Apply crew resource management while acting as pilot in command.
- Complete required flight documentation.
Requirements
- Have at least 400 hours of total flight time.
- Have at least 200 PIC hours.
- Have at least 100 airplane multi-engine land hours.
- Have given at least 50 hours of multi-engine dual instruction.
- Have flight-instruction experience within the previous 24 months.
- Hold at least a current Second Class medical certificate.
- Hold valid CFI, MEI and CFII certificates.
- Be legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Pass background and drug screening and complete initial and annual checks.
