Overview
Horizon Air is recruiting experienced first officers for its Embraer 175 regional operation, including opportunities associated with Anchorage. The published pilot pathway accepts a standard 1,500-hour profile as well as restricted-ATP routes with different total-time eligibility, so no single total minimum applies to every candidate. It nevertheless states common command, cross-country, night, instrument and multi-engine experience thresholds. Applicants must hold the relevant FAA commercial, instrument, medical and communications credentials, meet age and work-authorisation conditions, and accept assignment to an available base.

- Meet either the 1,500-hour ATP route or an eligible restricted-ATP pathway.
- Have at least 500 cross-country hours, or 200 where the published restricted pathway permits it.
- Have at least 100 night hours.
- Have at least 250 PIC hours, including 100 cross-country and 25 night.
- Have at least 75 instrument hours.
- Have at least 25 multi-engine hours; 100 are preferred.
- Hold an FAA Commercial certificate with multi-engine and instrument privileges.
- Hold an FAA First-Class medical certificate.
- Hold an FCC radio permit.
- Be at least 21 years old.
- Hold a valid passport and driving licence.
