Overview
Hubbell is hiring a corporate captain for its aviation operation in Stratford, Connecticut, flying a Bombardier Challenger 300 in support of worldwide company travel. The role combines command responsibility with detailed flight planning, aircraft-system knowledge, operational documentation, scheduling and safety reporting. Responsibilities
- Complete pre-flight inspections and confirm aircraft readiness.
- Operate safely under applicable regulations, the flight operations manual and company procedures.
- Select routes and departure times while monitoring weather and revising plans when needed.
- Maintain flight logs, trip paperwork and other required records.
- Keep working knowledge of every authorized aircraft system and associated emergency procedure.
- Review area, en-route and terminal charts for destination and alternate airports.
- Report safety hazards and support open communication about operational risks.
- Prepare schedules and manifests within the company flight-scheduling system.
Requirements
- Hold an Airline Transport Pilot certificate with a Bombardier CL-30 type rating.
- Obtain and maintain an FAA First Class medical certificate.
- Have at least 5,000 fixed-wing flight hours.
- Have at least 2,500 multi-engine land hours.
- Have at least 2,000 PIC hours.
- Have at least 1,500 turbojet hours.
- Have at least 1,500 turbine hours.
- Have at least 500 night hours.
- Have at least 500 actual or simulated instrument hours.
- Bring at least five years of aviation experience; corporate experience is preferred.
- Work flexible schedules and travel worldwide.
- Hold and maintain a valid driving licence.
