Overview
Porter Airlines is recruiting Embraer E195-E2 first officers for its Toronto operation during a period of fleet and pilot growth. Pilots work collaboratively with other team members, support the carrier’s service standards and participate actively in its safety-management system by reporting hazards and incidents. The vacancy requires Transport Canada airline-transport eligibility and a substantial total-time foundation, while previous E170-family or comparable high-density jet experience is valued. Candidates join a narrow-body jet operation with a published progression path and are expected to maintain open, respectful communication and high professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with other team members toward operational goals.
- Support the airline’s passenger-service standards.
- Participate in the safety-management system.
- Report hazards and incidents encountered during operations.
- Promote and comply with the company safety policy.
Requirements
- Hold a Transport Canada ATPL, or have passed the SAMRA and SARON examinations toward one.
- Have at least 1,500 hours of total flight time.
- High-density jet experience is advantageous.
- Previous Embraer E170-family experience is preferred.
- Demonstrate open, respectful and professional communication.
