Overview

PSA's experienced first-officer path recruits pilots for an all-Bombardier regional-jet fleet operating from Charlotte, Dayton, Washington, Dallas-Fort Worth, and Philadelphia. The defining experience test is 500 to 949 qualifying hours under FAR 121.436 or an applicable Part 135 ATP or Restricted ATP route; it is not described as total flight time. Candidates also need an FCC restricted radiotelephone permit, a First Class medical, and the ability to obtain a passport. The first officer supports the captain in safe multi-crew operation and can progress through PSA's direct-flow structure. Different regulatory pathways mean the qualifying-hours band is retained only in the detailed criteria.

Responsibilities

- Serve as first officer on PSA's Bombardier regional-jet operations.
- Assist the captain in safe aircraft operation and multi-crew coordination.
- Maintain company procedures, communication, and professional standards.

Requirements

  • Have 500 to 949 qualifying hours under FAR 121.436 or the applicable Part 135 ATP or Restricted ATP pathway.
  • Hold an FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
  • Maintain a First Class medical certificate.
  • Be able to obtain a valid passport.
